Privacy Policy

ProjectForge is a client-side web application. Your project data stays in your browser's local storage and is never sent to our servers. We do not collect personal information beyond what is described below.

Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage data (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. This data is not tied to individual users.

API Keys: If you provide an OpenRouter API key, it is stored in your browser's local storage only. It is never transmitted to our servers.

Contact Information: If you email us directly, we receive your email address and any information you provide in the message.

To operate and maintain the ProjectForge application.

To respond to support requests and inquiries.

To improve the product based on anonymous usage patterns.

To detect and prevent abuse or security issues.

Project Data: All project data is stored in your browser's local storage. We do not have access to this data. It persists until you clear your browser data or uninstall the application.

Contact Information: If you contact us, we retain your email correspondence for up to 2 years to provide ongoing support.

Analytics Data: Anonymous usage data is retained for up to 12 months.

Access: You can view all your project data directly in your browser's local storage.

Deletion: Clear your browser data to delete all local project data. To request deletion of any contact information we hold, email privacy@projectforge.app.

Portability: Export your project blueprints as JSON at any time from the Generate page.

Opt-Out: You can disable analytics by not using the application or by using a browser with tracking protection.

OpenRouter: If you use AI features, your API key is sent directly from your browser to OpenRouter. We do not proxy or log these requests. See OpenRouter's privacy policy for their data practices.

Cloudflare: Our application is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for their data practices.

Vercel: Some deployments may use Vercel. See Vercel's privacy policy for their data practices.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
